The deadly attack with dozens of dead in Iran is suspected of being carried out by Islamic State terrorists.

Iranian media reported that ISIS claimed responsibility for the attack in Kerman, where tributes were being paid on the fourth anniversary of the assassination of General Qassem Soleimani.

According to Iranian media, at least one of the two blasts was carried out by a suicide bomber.

At least 84 people were killed and hundreds more injured in powerful explosions south of kerman.

Iranian authorities suspect isis terrorists could have passed through border crossings with Afghanistan and Pakistan near the city.
