The two-story house of the nephew of Russian President Vladimir Putin was set on fire during the evening.
As Russian media reports, the house was located in Ryazan, opposite the Medical University on the outskirts of Moscow.
As reported in the media, the house belongs to the grandson of Russian President Vladimir Putin, Roman Putin.
Roman Putin (born 1977) is the son of the head of state Igor Putin's cousin. He worked in Ryazan from 2003 to 2009. He managed to work in the regional department of the FSB, in the city council, in the MTS branch, in the mayor's office. In 2004, he tried to be elected to the city council, but failed, winning less than 16% of the vote. His father, Igor Putin, lived and worked in Ryazan from 1998 to 2005, was chairman of the regional licensing chamber, and later moved to the capital.
In May 2022, both were placed under UK sanctions.
Last fall, there were reports that Roman Putin's living room was set on fire in Novy Urengoy, but Novaya revealed that the president's nephew no longer had anything to do with that room.
