A criminal group composed of Albanians and Spaniards has been hit by the Guardia Civil in Spain. The action took place in Alicante and Murcia, ending with the arrest of 26 people.

The Spanish media report that the authorities have carried out checks in 16 apartments in Murcia, Torrevieja, Alicante and Barcelona, ​​where a total of narcotics worth over 3 million euros have been seized.

According to the months-long investigation, the criminal group bought large quantities of cannabis, and after hiding them by packing them in mailboxes, sent them to different areas of Germany.

The main part of the traffic was organized by Albanian citizens, some of whom were involved in the cultivation and growth of cannabis, while others were involved in transportation and finally packaging and shipping to Germany.

In total, 26 people were arrested, while 13 of them were given prison terms.
