Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni held a telephone conversation with French President Emmanuel Macron, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz.

The focus of the talks was the call for diplomacy and military coordination in response to the escalation of tensions in the Middle East, following the US and Israeli attacks on Iran and Tehran's reactions.

According to Downing Street, the leaders agreed to work together to help resolve the crisis and support diplomatic efforts to stabilize the situation.
