The former Albanian national team striker made the decision to hang up his boots at the age of 35, which he himself confirmed through a post on social media.

'Thank you, football! I will miss you,' Armando Sadiku wrote in his post, where he also published an emotional video with the best moments of his career. 

Now Armando Sadiku will start a new career, this time behind an office desk as he will be in the role of Sports Director of Bellinzona in Switzerland, something that was confirmed by the Swiss club itself a few days ago.

Armando Sadiku is one of the top scorers in the Albanian national team. The striker has scored 12 goals for the red and black team in 38 matches played in total.

But the goal that will be remembered most from Armando Sadiku's career is the historic goal he scored in the match against Romania at the European Championship in France in 2016, a goal that gave our national team victory in its first participation in that major competition.
