Ertjan Kofsha has raised the red and black flag at the European Weightlifting Championships taking place in Durrës, winning the gold medal in the snatch and the silver medal in the clean and jerk.

The weightlifter gave an impressive performance on the platform, where he secured first place in the clean and jerk with 167 kilograms, achieved in the third attempt.

Kofsha confirmed his excellent form in the push-up discipline as well.

He started the competition with 193 kilograms, successfully lifted 196 kilograms, and then challenged himself with 200 kilograms on the third attempt.

After the excellent performance, the Albanian athlete celebrated with the double-headed eagle symbol, giving the fans a moment of pride.

His results in both disciplines also secured Kofsha the silver medal in the doubles event, adding another important success for Albanian weightlifting in this European competition.
