At least four people have died in gunfire in Lautlingen, a town in the German state of Baden-wurttemberg.
According to German newspaper Bild, the author was a hunter who opened fire on several people believed to be his family members.
Two of the victims are reportedly children and two adults.
It is unclear the motive of the incident and its circumstances.
