The father of the nurse who physically attacked the elderly woman in Peja, Naim Pelaj, has publicly apologized for his daughter's actions.

He spoke for Klan Kosovan, apologizing to the family of the elderly Nura from Gjakova, saying that the published images have hit him and the family hard.

"Dear family of the mother of the freedom martyr Taulant Nura, thanks to his blood we enjoy freedom today, we want to share the pain with you and we feel with you from the depth of our soul for the injury that our daughter has caused you ", has said Pelay.

"I know that you are going through difficult moments, but allow us to publicly apologize on behalf of my Pelaj family, from Novosella e Pejës, to you, the Nura family, and to the entire Albanian people. God willing, this case will not be repeated again and we owe you morally and spiritually all our lives to you, the Nura family from Gjakova, for the spiritual tragedy that our daughter caused you".

Pelaj requested that the justice institutions deal with the case in question, reports Klankosova.tv.

"Also, in the case of our daughter, we ask the law enforcement agencies to act according to the laws of the Republic of Kosovo for the crimes they charge her with ," said Pelaj for Klan Kosovan.
