The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Kingdom, David Cameron, has reported to the members of the British Parliament about his visit to Kosovo.

He was asked by MP Alicia Kearns about the situation in the North and about the United Kingdom's position on the September 24 attack in Banjska.

Cameron said that the attack in Banjska was a very dangerous event. He said that given the amount of weapons and the number of people involved, if they were not stopped by the Kosovo Police, there would be a series of attacks on police stations and barricades would be placed on the streets.

Cameron said in his report that Banjska's group did not have simple weapons, but were equipped with very heavy tools.

"We have a very clear picture of what happened that day. My view is that the attack in Banjska could have been an extremely dangerous event. If you look at the amount of weapons that were brought to Kosovo and the number of people, if this group had not been stopped by the operation of the Kosovo Police, there would have been a series of attacks on the stations of the Kosovo Police, there would have been barricades in the streets ... they didn't just have weapons, they were equipped with very heavy equipment," said Cameron.

The British chief diplomat said that he is aware of how dangerous the Banjska attack was and that this was also the reason for the trip to Kosovo, to meet closely with KFOR, the commander of the British forces, and to try to make an assessment itself about the nature of what is happening in Kosovo.

"I'm very aware of how dangerous it was, and that's why I was in Kosovo and met with KFOR and the commander of the British forces and others, to try to make an assessment myself, of the nature of what's happening in Kosovo", said Cameron.

Cameron did not hesitate to call Serbia a tool of Russia trying to destabilize the region and said Britain should show more anger at the actions of the Serbian government and see opportunities to fight it.
