After an investigation by the authorities, it turned out that the bomb alarm at the Kosovo Parliament was false.
The Chief Prosecutor of the Basic Prosecution Office in Pristina, Zejnullah Gashi, told the media that the alert was false. It is suspected that this message came from a male person from a country that is not friendly to Kosovo, according to Gashi.
Meanwhile, it is not known from which country the threat is suspected to have come.
Meanwhile, the Secretary of the Assembly of Kosovo, Arben Loshi, has announced the content of the threatening message that was sent today to the Assembly of Kosovo.
However, he did not reveal to whom the message was sent, saying that the police have this information.
"The notice to us as the administration was given by the police to vacate the premises, while the other notices, the police have the data, we do not have the data. I cannot confirm or deny something that we do not know exactly who was notified."
Loshi said that the message was written in English and that it said that a bomb was placed in the Parliament building and that it would explode within 10 minutes.
"According to the announcement made by the police in the plenary hall when immediate evacuation was requested, the evacuation was requested because a person called in English and said that a bomb had been placed in the Parliament building and that it would explode in 10 minutes," said Loshi.
Loshi also announced that the continuation of today's session has been postponed to 8:00 PM.
