Bomb alert at Kosovo Parliament, police evacuate MPs and journalist staff

As the 42nd attempt to establish the Kosovo Assembly was expected to take place today, a bomb alert was raised at the latter, which led to the evacuation of all lawmakers and journalists.

Initially, the idea was to evacuate only the journalist staff from the interior premises, but this was later followed by the evacuation of the MPs.

Meanwhile, Democratic Party of Kosovo MP Abelard Tahiri told the media that the police have requested the release of the Kosovo Parliament due to a threat, the circumstances of which are unknown, as a bomb is suspected.

The blue uniforms are continuing their work to confirm the presence of any explosives in the Parliament building.
