Among the means of war, Aleksandër Vučič once again pokes his nose into the internal affairs of Kosovo. The President of Serbia issued a call to citizens in northern Kosovo to boycott local by-elections, in defiance of any accepted commitment to normalize relations.

The condition established for the return of the Serbian List to the democratic processes and institutions of Kosovo is the formation of the Association.

"We are in a difficult situation, but the will of our people was such that they almost unanimously decided not to participate. This is what our people in the north decided. Should elections be held in police stations and containers, with 550 people armed to the teeth to ensure 1 to 2% turnout? I call on the Serbs to disappoint those in Pristina even more, to see how united we are," declared Vucic.

The Serbian President expressed his disappointment with the statement of the spokesperson of the European Union, Peter Stano, against the Serbian List, claiming that the Prime Minister Albin Kurti is trying to occupy the four municipalities in the north of Kosovo where voting will take place on Sunday: "Participate in the elections. I'm talking about that EU spokesperson and I ask him, aren't you a little ashamed?"

Vučič added that Brussels has given Kosovo visa liberalization, admission to the Council of Europe and now recently, recognition of the elections. Meanwhile, the United States of America has also confirmed that it will recognize the result of Sunday's local elections in the north of Kosovo.
