"34 million killed in just 5 hours", the Russian attack and how NATO

Princeton University researchers in collaboration with the Program for Science and World Security have conducted a frightening simulation, predicting how a nuclear attack by Russia could lead to a nuclear war.

It was introduced for the first time in 2017, while it was brought back again recently due to the extremely tense situation.

According to this forecast, at least 34 million people would die in just 5 hours.

"Plan A" is named video about 4 minutes long, which aims to highlight the possible catastrophic consequences that would bring a conflict between Russia and NATO countries.

The model, based on official data on the location of nuclear weapons, targets, predicts millions of casualties in just the first hours of such a nuclear conflict. Over 55 million more people would be injured, not including those who will die from radiation.

The simulation may seem very disturbing in itself, but it can be used by the governments of different countries to draw up plans and inform the public about how to survive an attack.

The attack is launched within the context of conventional weapons, which means a non-nuclear conflict. According to him, Russia fires a warning missile from a base near Kaliningrad towards the Black Sea to stop NATO's advance, which then retaliates with a tactical air strike.

Russia then sends 300 warheads to NATO bases and advancing troops in Europe via aircraft or short-range missiles.

The North Atlantic Treaty Organization will then retaliate with 180 aircraft-launched nuclear bombs.
At this moment, the victims are estimated to be over 2.6 million, while in a period of 3 hours most of Europe will be destroyed.

Because of this, NATO will respond through the US and its submarine fleet by launching 600 nuclear warheads in a strategic nuclear attack.

Russia, on the other hand, in order not to allow its arsenal to be destroyed, will launch all the missiles it has at its disposal from submarines, military bases, and even mobile nuclear weapons. The model predicts at least 3.5 million casualties in this phase of the war that would last 45 minutes.

In the final phase of the conflict, both sides would target each other's 30 most populous cities to launch 5 to 10 nuclear missiles at them, thus preventing a possible recovery from this war.

Such a move would mean 85 million victims and injured in a 45-minute time span.
