Suicide attack in Pakistan, 12 police officers killed!

At least 12 police officers killed and five injured in an attack on a police station in Pakistan.

Authorities said a suicide bomber detonated a vehicle packed with explosives at a checkpoint and gunmen opened fire on police. Another police officer is still missing.

The attack took place in the city of Bannu, where, according to police officer Muhammad Sajjad Khan , gunmen attacked the police station.

He told her that so far 12 police officers have been confirmed dead, while the fate of another member of the security forces remains unknown.

Earlier, authorities had reported that forces rushing to the scene were ambushed, mentioning the casualties, without providing further details.
