The earthquake

 

A strong earthquake shook Greece this Tuesday evening.

According to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center, the seismic tremors had a magnitude of 5.6 on the Richter scale. The epicenter of the earthquake is located 271 kilometers west of Heraklion of Crete and 136 kilometers south of Gytheio of the Peloponnese, while the focal depth is calculated at 5 kilometers.

The earthquake was registered at 18:36 local time (17:36 our time) and so far no damage has been reported.
