Voxnews.al turned one year old. Fixed on January 31, 2022, the idea to bring to the crowded market of portals and online information sites in Albania materialized.

The objectives were clear, but their materialization was challenging and the anniversary is the right time to take stock, even though the best balance today is the readers, they are the hundreds of thousands who have chosen us as an information window through the phone, computer, tablet, or through social networks.

We started as a small, new window, without weight and with the mundane prejudices that have characterized the media market in general and the online one in particular. But, one year later, Voxnews.al has more to be proud of.

For one year, 'Voksi', as we like to call it in the editorial office, has a balance sheet to be proud of. Today 'Voksi' has achieved what many other online media have been trying to achieve for years. Today 'Voksi' arouses the envy not only of online media competition, but also of traditional visual and audio-visual media. Today Voxnews.al is the choice on the phone and devices connected to the Internet for investigations, denunciations, exclusive videos of the chronicle, current affairs, economy, sports and others.  

The principle that has guided Voxnews.al in this first year (as it will continue to guide it in many years to come) is access to the reader through authentic audio-visual materials.

It has been the constant approach and denunciation, without fear, without being sold or bought, to the real problem that Albanian society has today: the capture of the economy by a handful of people who are taking the breath away from others.

On the second day of its establishment, when everyone else was still silent about the abusive increase in fuel prices, Voxnews.al brought arguments and proofs of how a handful of fuel oligarchs controlled the market and as an oligopoly used the alibi of the war in Ukraine to enslave the citizens.

Three weeks later, the first civil protests against the oligarchs began. We do not pretend that we were the ones who raised the Albanians in protest, but we had an essential contribution to this civil right revolt.

The writing was taken from other portals, with more years of experience in the market. They quoted us, many did not, while the oligarchs started trying to shut us up through blackmail, or through sums of money.

Voxnews.al ignored the blackmail and resisted the financial temptation in the face of the citizens' interest. The writings against the abusive increase in fuel prices continued even stronger and still continue, this time hidden behind the decisions of a board.

In a large part of the denunciation writings, we have called it the 'Cheti Board' to convey to the citizens the truth that that group of individuals and officials behind a decision-making on how much a liter of oil will be sold does not protect the citizens, but the oligarchs... as is Shefqet Kastrati.

Voxnews.al has denounced the capture of the state by the oligarchs of all fields, from those of wheat and flour, to the latest investigation on the concession of fiscal stamps and how a parasitic business has extorted almost 70 million euros in 10 years from businesses of others.

We have denounced how the oligarchs are destroying public properties, from the Port of Limion in the south, to that of Vlora and further to Durrës and Lezha. We have denounced how state property has been privatized in violation of the country's laws, or how oligarchs obtain administrative powers, going so far as to change the dividing borders of municipalities, as in the case of Samir Manes with Univers City.

The multitude of denunciations and unwavering alignment on the right side; that of public interest has added the line of 'enemies', or those who 'don't want us well'. But this alignment has increased thousands of times the support of the citizens, those who read us from the first day and others who join us day by day.

This is Voxnews.al, which has chosen from the first day to offer Albanians not the news, but what is hidden behind the news. This is our slogan with which we do not compromise.
