Who is Erzen Breçani!

However, his ascension to the leading positions of the state police would be accelerated in the 8 years of "Berisha II" after 2005.

Under Berisha's government, the state police cracked down on some of the gangs empowered through the political connections of Fatos Nano's government. Even at this stage, Brecani personally participated in several operations.

Remembering the accompaniment of Lul Berisha, he said: "I accompanied Lul Berisha, I accompanied him from Macedonia where he was caught and I communicated with him in the car. In the above question, I said you are a criminal, you have killed. No he said it's not true. I told him your property will be confiscated. Por drejtimi i policisë pas vitit 2005 ka qenë një periudhë me dritëhije. Si zv.drejtues i policisë së Tiranës, Breçani do të konfliktohej me opozitën e Partisë Socialiste në disa incidente. Në 21 janar të vitit 2011 u raportua se Breçani ishte në krye të dhunës së egër që ushtroi policia ndaj qytetarëve që u ndodhën në bulevard, pasi protesta kishte mbaruar.

Në tetor të vitit 2012, kur ish-të përndjekurit zhvilluan një grevë urie tek Komuna e Parisit, një raport i Avokatit të Popullit skedoi se si Drejtoria e Policisë së Tiranës “mori në menaxhim” grevën e urisë.  Nën mbikqyrjen e Breçannit, policia zgjeroi rrethimin dhe u ndaloi grevistëve komunikimin me jashtë. Më pas, u pengua furnizimi me ujë dhe me lëngje frutash, përfshirë pakot me sheqer, që ishin jetike për grevistët.

Një tjetër incident ku u përfshi Breçani ishte ai i rrahjes së kameramanit të Top Channel, Gent Ballta që e denoncoi publikisht se e kishte goditur brenda në komisariat. Shkak i rrahjes ishte se kameramani kishte filmuar një grup tifozësh pas ndeshjes Tirana-Skënderbeu, që hidhnin parulla kundër kryeministrit Berisha.

Breçani u përplas me deputetët e PS edhe në ditën e zgjedhjeve, në 24 Qershor 2013, kur policia nuk veproi në tentativën e disa punonjësve të OSHEE-së për ndërrimin e një kutie votimi.

“Unë jam gjeneral i policisë së shtetit, as i Saliut, as i kurrkujt!” u tha Breçani deputetëve të PS-së në atë kohë. Ndërsa Fatmir Xhafa ju përgjigj: “Ti je aksident në polici. Për fat mbaroi koha jote. E ke përdorur policinë e shtetit. Ti je ordiner”.

Me të ardhur në pushtet, socialistët e shkarkuan Breçanin nga policia. Më pas ai i akuzoi se e kishin diskriminuar për shkak të origjinës nga Tropoja.

Së fundmi, Breçani drejtoi një kompani security, por nuk i shkëputi asnjëherë lidhjet e ngushta me familjen Berisha.

Lidhja që SPAK i bën Breçanit me trafikun e drogës

Erzen Breçani rezulton përfaqësues i shoqërisë private të sigurimit 'Brecani Security' e cila ruan një sër biznesesh në Tiranë dhe shpërndarjen e parave në banka.

Në një kërkim të thjeshtë shohim se djali i tij, Eralbi Breçani, i cili është në kërkim nga SPAK, rezulton administrator i një hidrocentrali në Tropojë.
