One in two adults around the world say they would fight for their country if there was a war, a third wouldn't, and the rest aren't sure, according to a recent poll published by Gallup International .

It seems that the will to fight has decreased after the outbreak of several conflicts in recent years. In 2014, for example, when we witnessed the annexation of Crimea by the Russian Federation, attitudes on the same issue around the world were 61 percent ready to fight and 27 percent opposed.

Meanwhile in the latest report, only 52 percent of respondents worldwide are willing to fight against 33 percent who say no.
