Like today 10 years ago, in the late evening of November 20 in a wet and rainy weather, it was reported about an accident that had happened on the old road, Elbasan-Tirana.

What made this accident broadcast with subtitles on news television, and then with initials, the name of the person inside the car, was the fact that one of the prominent politicians until that time, the deputy and former minister, had lost his life. , Sokol Olldashi.

The fatal collision and the injuries caused Olldash to die instantly.

This accident had many questions regarding the way it had happened, but also regarding the political time in which the Democratic Party found itself.

Sokol Olldashu himself did not have the support of Sali Berisha at that time, who had resigned as the leader of the Democratic Party and the name that wanted to continue the leadership of the party was Lulëzim Basha (Today, after 10 years, it is known how things have gone between two).

The loss of Sokol Olldash's life caused many reactions and also filled his fatal crash with mystery and doubt, for which today there are many who believe that it was not a car accident...

But beyond politics Olldashi was a son, brother, father and husband.

He was married to Enkeleda Olldashi and they have two sons, Glaucus and Kleitin. Recently, the eldest son Glauku has started to become active with the Democratic Party, participating in various protests, deciding to follow his father's path.

The one who never stops remembering her son is her mother, Kozeta Mamaqi. His brother Ardian Olldashi did the same thing this morning on the social network, Facebook.

"I believe there's only one form of greatness for man. If a man can bridge the gap between life and death. I mean, if he can live after he's dead, then maybe he was a great man. To me, the only success, the only greatness, is immortality. (James Dean)" - writes the brother of the deceased. The comment that gets the most attention is his mother's.

Kozeta Mamaqi writes: Yes, honey, your brother has filled this gap, as long as so many good people remember him. We will remember it as long as we breathe, son! Today we both spoke on the phone, mostly without words. The pain, which makes your breath and soul cramp, did not leave us. It's been 10 years...son... !"- Sokol Olldashi's mother expresses her pain in this way as she writes to her son.

Today, on November 20, it will be 10 years without Sokol Olldashin. The man and the politician that everyone loved, and that with his departure left behind a lot of pain and a big void in Albanian politics.

Olldashi died in a tragic accident while traveling from Elbasan to Tirana on the evening of November 20, 2013.
