Beans are one of the foods that Albanians do not part with from their table, but the price is worrying for them, so they say they will consume less

The region of Korça calculates every year 2443 ha planted with beans and about 2700 tons of production per year, but in the market the domestic production is being competed by the imported one.

Consumers are replacing the local bean with the one that comes from Egypt and costs 200 lek per kilogram or the Turkish one that is sold at 300 lek per kilogram./ tch
