The Customs and Tax Administration have conducted inspections at several gas stations, identifying two of them in violation.
This concerns the gas stations "Eida" and "Gega Oil", for which there were suspicions of evasion of legal and customs obligations.
Thanks to the operation undertaken in the hydrocarbon sector to monitor the energy products market, initially the entities were monitored remotely and then, from preliminary checks, irregular documentation and complete failure to declare the activity were found.
It is learned that a task force established carried out checks at these two points in the city of Elbasan, where a series of violations were found:
1. Failure to issue an invoice for transactions performed
2. Failure to display the price list
3. Failure to update business data
4. Undeclared employees
5. Goods without an invoice
The Customs Administration has imposed the relevant penalties in accordance with the legislation in force, as well as the seizure of irregular documentation, which will be used for further verifications.

The Tax Administration and the Customs Administration have launched controls in the hydrocarbon market, in implementation of the joint operational plan for monitoring this sector.
The first action took place in Elbasan, in two fuel entities, where serious violations of the legislation in force were identified.
Controls will continue throughout the country, with the aim of fighting informality, monitoring prices and guaranteeing fair competition in the market.
