Minister of Economy and Innovation, Delina Ibrahimaj, said that the price of oil is being monitored by a task force, which will control the market every day, with the aim of avoiding abuses.

She stated that the situation is not at the level of establishing the Transparency Board, but emphasized that that "regime" will be restored if the growth continues.

"We discussed the economic situation, fuel prices. We held a meeting with companies and the Hydrocarbons Association. To raise the alert for the price increase in recent weeks, long influenced by the war. We discussed the obligation they have for reserves. We are monitoring, both the prices of oil, gasoline and gas, and the price at which fuel leaves customs, with the price of the tables that go for trading. During the 2022-2023 crisis, when prices increased, we had a transparency board that monitored and decided on selling prices. We judge that the situation is not at the level of raising the board, if there is a further increase we will enter that regime", Ibrahimaj told the media after the end of the government meeting.
