In some retail outlets in Tirana, the price of diesel has begun to increase by 4 lek per liter.

The increase in retail prices comes after oil prices changed on foreign exchanges, following attacks in Middle Eastern countries.

The increase in oil prices has begun to be reflected since yesterday in some retail fuel points, while prices on the highway have remained unchanged.

At the " Elda " fuel retail point in the "Xhamlliku" area, the price of diesel has reached 179 lek per liter from the 175 lek per liter it was previously trading at.

The price has increased by 4 lek.

Meanwhile, the price of gasoline has remained unchanged at 179 lek per liter.

At another gas station owned by the " Elda " company in the Bërryl area, the price of diesel has reached 179 lek.

Gas station employees claimed that the price increase started yesterday.

While there are no price increases at the points of the " Kastrati " company, oil continues to be traded at 175 lek per liter.

At Shell stations, the price of diesel has also remained unchanged at 178 lek per liter.

The Hydrocarbons Association warned that the increase in oil prices on the stock exchanges will be reflected in the domestic market within a few days with 10 to 20 lek more.

On foreign exchanges today, oil prices are 83 USD per barrel, up from 65 USD per barrel before the start of the war in Iran./ Monitor
