The State Police has appealed to citizens and drivers to avoid traveling on these road axes and to use alternative routes until the situation normalizes.

"Due to the fire in the Shkozet area, vehicle traffic has been blocked on the city ring road, on the Shkozet overpass, on the "Martin Camaj" road segment, in the direction of Plepave, as well as on the Kavajë-Durrës road segment," the police announced.

Operational teams continue to work to isolate and extinguish the flames.

So far, there have been no reports of injuries, and no damage to surrounding homes.

For safety reasons, the Transmission System Operator (TSO) has cut off the electricity supply, as the building where the fire broke out is located below the transmission line. As a result, the Shkozet substation is currently out of service and without electricity.

Authorities are monitoring the situation, while the causes of the fire are expected to be clarified.
