A shocking statement was recently made to the police by the mother of 24-year-old Blerina Çobaj, who was tragically burned to death along with her two children, 18 months and 3 years old, yesterday in the Postriba Domain due to a gas cylinder explosion.

According to her, her daughter, Blerina, had been raped by her husband for some time. And even though she was in a state of psychological shock due to the very serious incident, the mother gave her statement the day before to the Shkodra Police.

She said that a few months ago, the family tried to take the girl with her two children, but the 24-year-old, although she initially requested this herself, later regretted it and continued to stay with her husband.

Her mother said that Blerina Çobaj did not have a cell phone and that communication with her family was very limited since they lived in Germany, as we have previously reported.

Both families have had a cold relationship with each other, lacking normal communication, which was also observed yesterday.

On the other hand, the deceased's husband has stated that they had no problems as a couple, while due to the tragedy he is in a very serious psychological condition.

According to what has been reported so far by the investigative team, the alleged violence by the girl's family had no impact on the tragic event, which is seen with conviction as accidental.

We recall that according to media sources close to the investigation group, the bodies of the three victims were found very close to each other.

When the fire broke out, it is believed that the mother hurriedly protected her children, unable to get out. Her youngest, Amar, only 18 months old, was found in his mother's arms, while the other child, Anuar, was very close to them.

All that remained in the house were the small gas cylinder, a bed spring, and the old walls of the apartment.

According to the investigations so far, it is suspected that the young woman had lit the 5-liter gas cylinder, which immediately exploded, killing her and the children.

As a result of the high pressure, it is reported that the roof of the apartment collapsed and the woman and her two children were trapped inside, burning inside the house.

The serious incident was reportedly learned from a citizen who, upon seeing the fire from a distance, immediately called the firefighters.

The flames escalated and burned down the apartment, as the house was located in difficult terrain that was inaccessible due to the lack of a road.
