The fire on the dividing border between Gjirokastra and Tepelena

A large-scale fire broke out yesterday evening on the dividing border between Gjirokastra and Tepelena, between the villages of Hormovë and Labovë.

At around 03:30, the firefighters arrived at the scene, found several fire spots and intervened with backpack pumps and circumstantial tools for isolation until the fire was completely extinguished.

A part of the intervention group will continue to stay at the scene to monitor, preventing the fires from reactivating.
