The police announce that today, on 17.08.2024, on "Perlat Rexhepi" street, citizen JM, 28 years old, hanged himself in his apartment, and as a result, he died.

According to the police, the investigative group is working to clarify the circumstances of the incident.

Within two days, seven suicides were reported in the country

And today, on "Hamdi Sina" street, it is suspected that she threw herself from the 5th floor of the building, the 78-year-old citizen, who as a result of the injuries she received, died at the scene.

At noon, a 60-year-old woman was found drowned in the Artificial Lake of Tirana. 

Yesterday, RENA police officers found the dead body of a 21-year-old man, who allegedly drowned himself in the water channel in the village of Çukas.

While a 23-year-old woman, who allegedly suffered from mental health problems, jumped from the fifth floor of her building, on "Asim Vokshi" street.

An 81-year-old woman hanged herself in her apartment near the Madrasa in Tirana and as a result died.
