Thumanë-Kashar, which is the first highway of category A in Albania, was opened for traffic on June 30. The road is passable against a payment of 2.52 euros with VAT for each vehicle.

The concessionaire plans to collect at least 1.3 billion euros in basic income for 35 years.

According to comparisons, the Thumane - Kashar highway will be one of the four most expensive highways in Europe in terms of toll, while compared to purchasing power it is the most expensive in Europe.
