The identity of the 20-year-old Albanian man who was shot dead inside his apartment in Ponte dell'Olio, in the province of Piacenza, Italy, has been revealed.

Media beyond the Adriatic report that Enriko Aliaj. The suspected perpetrator of the crime is his 18-year-old brother, who is suspected of accidentally shooting him in the head. The 20-year-old was injured and died on the way to the hospital.

In front of the prosecutor Daniela De Girolamo, he confessed that he was the one who accidentally shot his brother with a pistol.

Seized by panic, he remained locked in the apartment until at 10:50 p.m. he handed himself over to the police. He is under investigation by the Police.

In the house at that moment, in addition to the victim and his brother, there was also a third person, a friend of the two young men, who initially left but was later identified by the Piacenza carabinieri who are investigating the case.

The prosecutor of Piacenza has ordered a series of further investigations, including the autopsy of the 20-year-old's body, while the carabinieri are working on several testimonies of friends and neighbors, as well as on the origin of the weapon that was found in the house with which he was shot and Enriko Aliaj.
