Journalist Habjon Hasani has reacted regarding the position that the American ambassador in Tirana, Yuri Kim, took on the release of the former Minister of the Interior, Saimir Tahiri.

In a post on social networks, he writes that the reaction of the head of American diplomacy in Albania is the most significant episode of the failure of the justice reform. According to him, the main problem is not the release of Tahir, but those thousands of Albanians who stay in prisons in vain, becoming victims of irresponsible prosecutors or victims of the whims of the statistical system.

Full reaction:

This half-harsh reaction of Yuri Kim to Tahiri is the most significant episode of the failed justice reform.

I don't care at all if Saimir Tahiri uses a legal space to shorten the days of his stay in prison, caste has privileges everywhere.

The problem is those hundreds of thousands of Albanians who are sent to prison in vain, becoming victims of irresponsible prosecutors or victims of the whims of the statistical system.
In Albania, a mass bail application should be launched, with a guarantee payment.
Those people who are not socially dangerous to kill or destroy evidence should wait for the Appeal decision and then be imprisoned if the judge convicts them.
Municipalities must be connected with the judge; and for some types of crimes, the sentences should be community service.
In this country, the prosecution only shows in handcuffs, while Yuri has Tahiri's problem, but Tahiri is part of the 1% of society that enjoys privileges in New York and Tirana.
Justice must work for the other 99%, without privileges, nobody can do anything, anywhere.
We have an expression in Albanians "Wash the cat's pussy", maybe they will explain to Yuri what they mean.
