Filip Shehu, the perpetrator of the murder of the pizza chef Indrit Islamllari, had been receiving treatment from a psychologist in Tirana for some time due to the depressive state he was going through.

Shehu was taking memory-enhancing drugs and anti-depressants, while also working as a pizza dough preparer at the very pizzeria where the serious incident of the murder of Indrit Islamllari occurred.

The perpetrator had only been employed at the "City Lounge" restaurant for 7 months, as a pizza chef and dough preparer. He had occasional conflicts with Indrit Islamllari, who often insulted and mocked him.

Even on the day of the incident, Indriti severely insulted him, saying: "...I'm going to fuck you..." This insult angered Filip Shehu, who grabbed a knife and then shot Indriti several times in the chest and abdomen, leaving him dead on the spot.

Syri.net was able to obtain the full testimony of Filip Shehu, who, among other things, indicated that Indrit Islamllari and Arturi, but I do not know their last names, work with him in the pizzeria of this restaurant, whom he found in this restaurant as employees.

Filip Shehu usually starts work at 1:00 PM and works until 11:00 PM. His relationship with the other pizza chef, Artur, has been very good and normal throughout, and they have never had any kind of conflict or disagreement between each other.

As for the other bartender, Indriti, their relationship was normal for the first few months and they didn't have any kind of conflict with each other.

Over the last 2-3 months, Indriti has started to bother and insult him on many occasions during work because he demanded that they do things at work according to his wishes and not according to the orders they had received from the owner and manager regarding the progress of the work.

Often these insults on his part have escalated into serious insults, but he has consistently avoided them, not wanting to aggravate the situation, and has complied with Indriti's requests.

Indriti had this relationship and behavior not only with him, but he also created debates and insulted Artur and other members of the restaurant staff.

Often during this behavior that Indriti was having with him and the rest of the staff, the manager and the owner of the restaurant were present, who drew his attention.

On the day of the incident on October 28, 2025, Filip Shehu says he went to work as usual around 1:00 PM and as soon as he showed up at work, he started preparing the pizza ingredients and dough.

Indriti arrived at work around 2:00 PM and as soon as he arrived they started working as they had orders to bake pizzas.

At around 3:30 PM, a kitchen employee named Zamira asked to take some raw ham from them to prepare some antipasti she had ordered at the restaurant.

Indriti said: "...he didn't cut himself...".

Zamira told Indriti: "...because I don't know how to cut raw meat myself because it was uncut at all...".

Filip Shehu also overheard this conversation, who intervened and told Indriti: "...I'll give it to him because I'll wait for it myself...".

Indriti answered him and said the words: "...no, you don't have to give it to him..".

Philip said to him: "...I'll cut the raw meat myself and give it to him...".

And in the meantime, he went to get the tub of raw meat and brought it to the counter and started cutting some things, and when Indriti saw the meat, he said again: "...No..." you can't give it to him and spoke to him in a harsh tone.

Filipi took the raw ham he had and, as they had always done before, wanted to give it to Zamira, and at that moment Indriti intervened, taking it by force and pulling the tub of ham away, telling him not to give it to her because he knew.

Shehu told him that they had always done this as a gesture of giving them ham when they needed it, but he told him that he knew he wouldn't give it to them himself and cursed him, saying: "...I'm f..r..r..r...".

At this moment, after Indriti cursed him, he lost control and felt very offended, as it was a repeated incident, and in a fit of anger, he took a knife from the pizzeria counter and with that knife he shot Indriti 3 times in different parts of his body.

After shooting him three times, he left the knife in the sink next to the pizzeria counter and went to the bathroom to change and wait for the police.

He expresses great remorse for the action he committed, but being constantly insulted by Indriti, he lost control and reacted by taking the knife and shooting him.

After the incident, he expressed deep regret for the action he took and thinks it would be best for him to leave his job rather than commit that act.

He also states that since April 2025, of this year, he has been using medications to improve memory and anti-depressants, medications that were given to him by a psychiatrist, whose name he does not remember, but whose clinic is in the "1 May" neighborhood, near the Tabak Bridge./ Syri.net
