The Basic Court in Pristina has today set the measure of detention for one month against Naim Murseli, Granit Plava and Kushtrim Kokalla regarding the suspicions of the murder of Liridona Ademaj.
Naim Murseli is suspected of grave murder committed in collaboration, while Granit Plava is suspected of grave murder.
While the third suspect who participated in the serious crime, is suspected of conspiring to commit the criminal offense of serious murder.
Murseli said during today's session that he did not run away from the scene and was himself in danger.
"I didn't run away from the scene, I was even in danger myself and asked for help at the same time until the police arrived," the suspect reportedly confessed according to the court's decision.
Lawyer Ahmet Ahmeti had said that Naim Murseli did not commit the criminal offense in the place, time and manner as described in the prosecution file and is not involved in the murder.
"My client is not at all involved in the commission of these criminal offenses and has no reason to repeat the criminal offense because he did not do it," said lawyer Ahmeti.
Based on this, Ahmeti had asked the court not to approve the request for detention, or to appoint an alternative measure.
The decision to assign detention was made by the preliminary procedure judge Sultane Hoti.
