A 40-year-old man was arrested by the police of Vlora after he was accused of assaulting a citizen with a strong object, seriously injuring him, an incident that happened at the beginning of this year.

The police say that Alfred Ndoj, who is also the fifth and last person to be arrested by the police for hostage-taking and barbaric rape of a citizen, ended up in handcuffs as part of the coded operation "Rule of Law", on January 19, 2023.

We remember that Pjeter Ndoj, Astrit Ndoj, Alfred Ndoji (3 brothers), as well as Astrit's two sons, namely citizens Aleksander Ndoj and Anton Ndoj, were forcibly held hostage in the vehicle.

It is suspected that they deliberately crashed into the vehicle in which the victim was traveling and then put him in their car.

After seriously injuring him with hard objects, the 5 family members left Gentian Omer unconscious on the street and left.

Pjeter Ndoj, 30 years old (with a previous criminal record in the field of narcotics), Astrit Ndoj, 44 years old, and his two sons, 21-year-old Aleksander Ndoj and 21-year-old Anton Ndoj, were also arrested earlier.

The coded police operation "Rule of Law" continues, for the capture of citizens wanted for various criminal offenses. Collaborator for taking a citizen hostage and wounding him with hard objects, the 40-year-old wanted man is arrested. The arrest of the 40-year-old is the result of coordination of information and cooperation between the Sector against Serious Crimes against Life and Property of DVP Vlora and the Police of Lezha.

As a result of the immediate administration of the information provided by the police intelligence, about the location of the citizen declared wanted within the coded police operation "Hostage", developed by the Police of Vlora, on 19.01.2023, as well as the exchange of them with the services of the Lezha Police, it became possible, within the framework of the national police operation "Rule of Law", to arrest the citizen AN, 40 years old.

The Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Sarandë has assigned the 40-year-old the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offenses "Illegal deprivation of liberty" and "Deliberate serious injury", committed in cooperation.

Summary of the case: On 19.01.2023, the citizen AN and 4 other citizens (arrested by the Vlora Police, during the "Hostage" operation), for weak motives, forcibly held the citizen GO in the vehicle, injured him seriously, with hard objects, and then left him unconscious on the street. The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecution of the Court of First Instance of Saranda General Jurisdiction, for further actions.
