43-year-old Albanian in Italy Vladimir Topjana is suspected of being murdered for property reasons, Italian media report. The Albanian was executed with a gun on Sunday evening in front of a bar in Fontanafredda, while 34-year-old Rogert Shota from Fushë-Kruja has been arrested as the perpetrator.
The 34-year-old's father, Pren Shota, was also arrested after being in the vehicle with him. According to reports, the 43-year-old had gone out with his 17-year-old son to watch the Roma-Juventus match and while he was talking to a relative in the car park, a white car arrived.
They started arguing with the 43-year-old when suddenly one of them got out of the car, pulled out a gun and shot Vladimir Topjana in the head. The perpetrator tried to escape in a vehicle, but was later caught by the police. Inside the vehicle was found a Beretta 7.65 gun, which had been stolen last August in Bagnocavallo (Ravenna).
A few days before the incident, Vladimir Topjana had been in Fushe Arrëz, and then traveled to Italy, where he worked.
