Just as it was warned, a protest is taking place in Tirana for the murder of Egli Proga in Pogradec, by Denis Meçe.

Hundreds of people have gathered in "Skënderbej" square to continue the march to the Ministry of Interior and to finish it at the Prime Minister's Office.

The victim's sister is also present at the protest.

The protesters demand that justice be done for the murder of Egli Proga and that the perpetrators be punished by the law.

The event that shocked public opinion last week with the murder in Pogradec, is the main motive of this protest.

The very public conflict that involved law enforcement and justice institutions to shift responsibility to each other reinforced suspicions that something had gone wrong with the disclosure of the event on the evening of August 10 in the lake city.

Today, Denis Meçe is under arrest for manslaughter, while according to the police, the killing was intentional.

The prosecution and the court did not bear the responsibility for easing the charge, which caused the strong reaction of the relatives of the deceased.
