The Rinas police officer, Erjon Goxhara, injured a 45-year-old man at noon today in the 'Kika2' complex in the area known as Paris Commune in the capital.

Lorenc Kosta was injured, while according to the police, the incident is suspected to have happened for 'weak' motives'.

It is reported that the serious incident happened after the 45-year-old harassed the police officer's partner.

"On 19.08.2024, at around 2:07 p.m., near a market at the Paris Commune roundabout, it is suspected that for weak motives, the citizen EG, (Police employee) wounded the citizen LK, 45 years old, with a firearm. who is in the hospital, under the care of doctors.

The investigative group is at the scene and under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office is working to catch the suspected perpetrator and clarify the circumstances of the incident," the police announced.
