The General Manager of the Correctional Service of Kosovo, Ismail Dibrani, said that there were attempts to attack him, but he was not allowed to resort to violence.

"The case is quite sensitive", he says, while emphasizing that the prison staff has intervened at all times to prevent possible conflicts.

" When the prisoners tried to attack, the staff reacted immediately and prevented the conflict. There is no beating. There was an attempted assault because it is a prison, and the case is sensitive, the public pressure was great, there may be threats, attempted assault, but there was never any physical contact. Even for this attempt, we will establish the investigative commission and we will come out with concrete results ", Dibrani told the Kosovar media.

Also, he denied that the suspect for the murder of the 30-year-old attempted suicide.

"No. There was an attempt by that inmate to damage the blanket in the room, at the time it was investigated, staff arrived and removed the blanket from the room and replaced it. There was neither an attempt at self-harm nor suicide, when it was noticed that the blanket was damaged, the reaction was from the staff. Because these people are being treated with high risk. The level of security has been raised" , he said.

The Director of the Correctional Service also stated that there is no contact between the three suspects for the murder of Liridona Ademaj, and that they are located in single rooms.
