The coded police operation "Selita" is finalized, for cracking down on criminal activity in the field of theft of property and wealth.

A sum of money was stolen by force at a gas station in Selitë, thanks to intensive investigative actions, the 2 suspected perpetrators were identified, caught and put in handcuffs.

A knife-cutting tool, a fist enhancer, the clothes and the vehicle that the suspected perpetrators used to commit the crime were seized.

Services of Police Station No. 2, following the work to crack down on criminal activity in the field of theft of property and assets, after the notification received that two citizens, in cooperation with each other, had stolen a sum of money by force at a gas station in Selitë , immediately organized the work for their identification and capture.

In this framework, the coded police operation "Selita" has been finalized, as a result of which the identification, capture and arrest of two suspected perpetrators, citizens:

AL, 22 years old and KL, 21 years old, both residents of Tirana. 

These two citizens, in cooperation with each other, on 09.12.2023, at around 01:40, approached a gas station in the Headquarters, and the citizen AL got out of the vehicle. The KL citizen approached to supply the vehicle with fuel, while the AL citizen forcibly stole the daily turnover from the fuel employee.

As material evidence, a knife-cutting tool, a fist amplifier, the clothes and the vehicle that the suspected perpetrators used to commit the crime were seized.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction in Tirana, for further actions. - announces the police.
