VIDEO / Gjipe Beach is filled with illegal constructions, the police arrest one person and announce the search for 3 others

The police have arrested one person and announced the search for 3 others because they were building a beach-bar without permission on the beach of Gjipe in Himare.

From the drone video, you can see many structures erected on this beach, which is considered to be one of the only ones in our country that has survived the greed of construction.

Police Notification:

They were building without a permit, on the beach of Gjipe, a 52-year-old man was handcuffed, work continues to arrest 3 other citizens.

As a result of the controls that are being carried out 24/7, with the aim of preventing and cracking down on cases of unauthorized construction, especially in urban and coastal areas, the services of the Dhërmi Police Station, supported by police intelligence information, identified 4 cases of this illegality, on the beach of Gjipe.

Following the procedural actions for these cases, citizen G. S, 52 years old, resident in Tirana, was arrested red-handed, and citizens Ll. Sh., 63 years old, B. Sh., 52 years old and AZ, 65 years old, all three residents of Himare.

These citizens were each building a wooden structure (beach-bar), without the permission of the competent bodies, on the beach of Gjipe, for profit purposes.

Controls and verifications continue to ascertain and attack other cases of illegal constructions, as well as other crimes against the environment.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Vlorë, for further actions,' the police announcement states.
