VIDEO-NEWS/ The army, trying to help the residents, ends up being saved

A military vehicle that was helping residents of Katund i Ri in Durrës remained stranded in the water this afternoon, due to flooding caused by bad weather.

The aid vehicle, deployed to assist affected families, encountered difficulties on a flooded section of road and was unable to proceed further.

Local residents came to the aid of the military, providing a tractor to pull the car out of the water.

Katundi i Ri is one of the areas most affected by the intense rainfall of recent days. Dozens of homes are reported to be flooded, while internal roads have become almost impassable.
