The testimony of 56-year-old Shefqet Lika, arrested in Kamëz, after concealing the suicide of his wife Shahe Lika in their apartment, is revealed. Before the investigators, Lika stated that he was afraid to report about his wife's suicide, because according to him, her family members would not believe it.

Lika said that for a long time they have been accusing her of the violence she used against the woman and that her family members had warned her from time to time that they would denounce her.

However, the situation got out of control for the 56-year-old after the family members of the already addicted woman had doubts and asked for an expert examination of the dead body. After the expertise, it turned out that the 55-year-old woman had committed suicide. Shefqet Lika is accused of two criminal offenses, causing suicide and actions that prevent the discovery of the truth.

The media write that the couple has had numerous conflicts for many years, while the husband has systematically abused her. In the last weeks it was learned that she had left the apartment and lived with her sister.

She had returned to the man's apartment the day before she made the decision to commit suicide. Due to violence and conflicts, it is suspected that the woman committed suicide, Shefqet Lika has been an alcoholic for years.

Their children live abroad, while it is reported that after arriving on Monday, they had an argument with the father's family members. The dead body of the 55-year-old woman was escorted to the last apartment only by her family members, while the children also left the father's apartment.
