Why was Fatmir Ara, short 'Miri', tied to a tree and tortured? Why was he beaten, stabbed and then killed and executed with several bullets? It is suspected that at least two firearms were used on him, possibly a pistol and a rifle.

The investigation to catch the killers of the 43-year-old businessman, whose body was found in a field between San Carlo and Vauda Canavese, continues. The Albanian, who for years lived in Mathi in Turin, is suspected to have been killed by 3-4 people. At least these are the first data that emerge from the investigations of the Carabinieri in Venaria and forensic doctors.

However, the Italian authorities are expected to have a more accurate answer this Tuesday, when the autopsy results are released. Meanwhile, as the Italian media write, the investigators are analyzing the images captured by several security cameras of private houses, located on the road that leads to the place where the Albanian was found murdered.

The area is actually unlit and without cameras at night, many crimes have occurred in that place. Burnt cars and bodies, but also weapons and drugs hidden among the vegetation, or buried. On the road leading to this area, it is suspected that Ara met his killers, who he probably knew, or had had dealings with recently.

According to the investigators, the victim may have been trapped, a few minutes after leaving the house. He had left for work on Friday morning, at 07:30 and then disappeared, without making even a phone call to his new wife with whom he had 2 children.

The weapons used to execute Ara have not been found, and experts are conducting several examinations and collecting any data on the abandoned car a few meters from where the dead body was found. The car is known to be owned by another Albanian, who is not believed to be related to the incident.

Since Saturday evening, the investigators continue to receive testimony from several people, acquaintances and friends of Mir, in an effort to reconstruct his movements and above all to understand his network of connections.
