The daughter of the great Albanian actors Agim Shukes and Mirketa Çobani , has confessed a dark side of her life, touching on her childhood, the separation of her parents and the trauma of their divorce.

Jonida Çobani Gjoka, invited to ABC News, stated that she experienced the divorce of her parents a lot due to the fact that she felt like a shadow and the cause.

The girl says that although two famous actors, their private life was not the best and all that connected them was herself.

"I suffered the divorce of my parents extremely. I was very small, only 9 months old. They were two young people from 'Arteve', but I think I am the product of a young, immature love between two actors who could not play the role of two husbands in life. I was like a shadow, like 'backstage', as I took their separation personally. Even now I feel that pain just as strongly, knowing what ugly experiences my mother had with me.

I am the daughter of Agim Shuka and Mirketa Çobani. At first when I met my dad I cried, then my mom decided not to take me to see him anymore. Then dad would come, but I didn't have an inner connection with him. It was a connection that I could not bring to life. After his death I have met people to tie up those loose chains, yet I never got to know him and this is a pawn of mine. It was precisely their religious worldview that led to their separation. My paternal grandmother was orthodox and never gave her blessing to my mom and dad's relationship. It alludes to an extramarital affair that put a lid on it. The more they lived together, the more they understood that they had nothing to bond them, except for a child", said Jonida.

During her confession, while telling about her traumas, she said that as a result of what she experienced, she decided not to have children. Jonida said that her husband has accepted her wish.
