Journalist Metor Kikia has told how in 1996 he wrote an article about the "Xhaferri" pyramid and how his son found it and threw the money in his face.

He says that at that time he was a young journalist and had written an article about the risk of the rentier company, as it was called at that time, but that the son of Rrapush Xhaferri called this a spoiling of his image.

Journalist Mentor Kikia says that the son of Rapush Xhaferri went to the newsroom where he worked and threw the money in his face saying "I shave for money".

"One day later, while I was riding my bike to go to the prosecutor's office for some news, at the former Embassy of Yugoslavia, on Durrës street, a motorcycle hit me, throwing me on the sidewalk and ran away," writes Kikia.

Mid-1996, I was a young journalist at the time. I covered the black chronicle. A woman met me and told me that the "Xhaferri" company was not paying the money regularly. (Introduced with usury. Enter 100 and for a month you get 300)

I wrote an article on the risk of rental companies - that's what we called them then. 

During the day, the son of this animal who sings songs here comes to the editorial office of Gazeta Shqiptare, straight to the editor's office.

- I shave for money - he said and took out a bunch of dollars and threw it in my face. Two of his bodyguards of 120 kg each stood guard on foot. The dollars were scattered on the floor and they hurried to collect them.

A day later, while I was riding my bike to go to the prosecutor's office for some news, to the former Yugoslav Embassy, ​​on the Durres road, a motorcycle crashed, throwing me on the sidewalk and ran away. Cava doren, I did 3-4 stitches.

After a few months, we're leaving for everyone: These maskers, the government that supported them, our money, the people and Albania together with us.
