As resignations have begun to be submitted en masse to Chairman Armando Subashi , it is learned that some leaders will not be affected by the self-cleaning reform.
The pink headquarters in Fier said that, in the meeting where the prime minister requested the resignation of local leaders, he clarified that appointments made after January are exempt from this order.
Thus, in Fier, the directors of OSHEE, Cadastre, and Taxes will not be forced to resign, as they were not only appointed in recent months, but are also new figures in the public administration.
Given that the "target" of this political action by Prime Minister Edi Rama are the senior leaders of the local administration, in Fier it is already known who will stay and who will leave.
The resignations of the two deputy mayors have not yet been submitted to the Municipality of Fier, but rumors are circulating that there is already a proposal for this position and it is Nustret Avdulla, a former PDIU MP, who joined the SP after the 2021 general parliamentary elections.
But, contacted by phone by News 24, Avdulla claimed that, as of September 10, he is still a member of the Albanian Parliament and is not aware of this proposal.
On the other hand, some of the directors under the municipality have stated that they will not accept to resign, as they have been maximally engaged in the campaign.
