A serious accident occurred on the Lezha - Shkodra axis, near the village of Fishte.
A vehicle collided with a trailer with Serbian license plates and, as a result, went off the road, ending up in a canal.
A woman in her 60s has died and four other people have been injured. Local residents and police are trying to pull the injured out of the canal.
Several ambulances from Lezha, Shkodra and Vau i Dejës came to help the injured.
