The accident in Peqin

The people you see in the photo above are 55-year-old Fatbardha Shahini and her son, Klodian Shahini, who lost their lives in the tragic accident recorded in the early hours of this morning on the "Elbasan-Peqin" road axis, in the village of Paulesh.

Mother and son were traveling in a "Mercedes Benz" vehicle when they were hit by a van driven by 44-year-old Anesti Bufi.

The collision was so severe that the car was almost completely destroyed and the mother and son were trapped inside, where they unfortunately died at the scene.

As a result of the accident, the driver of the van, Anesti Bufi, and 4 passengers traveling in the van were injured, who were taken to the Elbasan hospital and are out of danger.
