Tragedy in Berat/ 15-year-old drowns after entering the river to bathe!

A serious incident has shaken the village of Orizaj, in the municipality of Berat , today, where a 15-year-old boy lost his life after drowning in the river.

According to preliminary information, the young man, Fatjon Sadushi, was working in the field with his father.

At one point, he entered the river to cool off and wash himself, but the current swept him several meters downstream.

The 15-year-old's father immediately intervened to save him and managed to pull him to shore, but unfortunately the boy showed no signs of life.

Police officers and an ambulance team arrived at the scene, transporting the body to the Berat Regional Hospital Morgue, where it is expected to undergo forensic examination.

Meanwhile, the investigation team continues to work to fully clarify the circumstances of the incident and determine the cause of death.

It is initially suspected that the 15-year-old drowned accidentally while bathing in the river.
