A gunshot murder occurred on Saturday evening in Dukagjin, Shkodra.
The victim was citizen Aleksandër Koçeku, about 40 years old.
It is learned that Koçek was moving from Kiri i Dukagjinit towards Prekal to Shkodra, where near the village of Lin, he was shot with a hail of bullets.
The perpetrators apparently guarded the victim on a mountain road segment, where there is very little traffic, and taking advantage of the darkness and lack of cameras, killed him.
The Koçeku family was in blood, and this is confirmed by relatives. The victim is the brother of Artan Koçeku, who is in prison for the murder of citizen Angjelin Shkambi in December 2017.
"I have his father as my uncle. Everyone knows the conflict we had. We have one in prison for that work that owed blood somewhere. He mainly worked at home, with a bakery, and his son-in-law worked in Shkodra," said, among other things, Mark Koçeku, a relative of the victim.
The reason for the murder of Angjelin Shkambi at that time was suspected to have been a debt of 40 thousand euros, while the investigative file showed that Angjelin Shkambi had established an intimate relationship with the sister of the Koçeku brothers, while, on the other hand, he was engaged to another girl.
To commit the murder, Artan Koçeku had received permission from Peqin prison, after he had been arrested for another criminal offense and had asked Angjelin Shkambi for a meeting via Facebook.
Meanwhile, the Police and the investigation team have written to the scene and collected evidence to enable the identification and arrest of the perpetrator(s), as well as the full disclosure of the circumstances of the incident.
