37-year-old man hits parents with hard objects, father in serious condition

A serious incident was recorded in the village of Rrushkull, in Manëz, Durrës, where a 37-year-old man hit his parents with hard objects, in front of their apartment.

According to the Police report, 37-year-old EK, who has mental health problems, hit his father, 72, and mother, 69.

As a result of the violence, both parents were injured. The mother is in the Durrës Regional Hospital, in a stable condition, while the father suffered head injuries and is in serious condition.

He is headed to the Trauma Hospital in Tirana to receive more specialized medical assistance.

Citizen EK was escorted to the Police premises for further action.

The investigative group, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, is working to fully clarify the circumstances of the incident.
